Specific Need
By philanthropically supporting the HOPE Center, donors have the opportunity to continue the sustainability of the HOPE Center's work in assisting Dickinson County households in need. By giving them a hand up, we help them strive to work their way out of poverty and/or prevent homelessness.

Our mission is to be a clearing house to meet the physical, emotional, financial, and spiritual needs of the people of Dickinson County.

REFERAL SERVICES
HOPE Center networks with other social service
agencies and also makes referrals to other community resources when appropriate.
DIRECT AID
HOPE Center gives direct financial aid to help with bills such as utilities, rent, prescriptions, diapers, gasoline, etc. Using a voucher system, we directly mail the check to the vendor. In 2022 HOPE assisted 103 households for a total of $30,744.92
HOPE HOUSE
Transitional house for local families who are homeless or unable to remain in their current housing. Families live in the house expense-free and are required to participate in life skills training and prepare for financial and housing stability.
